I don't think it is an issue of it "working", but some programs don't
clean up after themselves when they finish and will leave their file
"droppings" in your DOS directory for you to wonder about at a later
date. I think using a RAMdrive for temp is best, though with Windows
programs (specifically Netscape for W3.x) my 15 meg RAMdrive was not
large enough for it to use as a temp directory.
