Hiya L.D.! Outlook Express is the email and news program included in the later installations of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Not to be confused with the full Outlook program, it also is not as susceptible to some script viruses, ie-VBS.LoveLetter. I've used it, and it works quite nicely, for MS! In fact, it is a very good news group reader/posting app! However, it does take a bit of time to load on my 486DX4 100mHz w/24 meg RAM and WIN95, so most of the time for email I use FoxMail. The latest version, 5, did improve some of the load up time versus version 4. In regards to viewing web pages, it is capable of viewing HTML mail, therefore some caution should be excercised re: VB Script. But again, FoxMail can view HTML mail, so I have to be careful with it also. If you sent someone an email containing your web page's HTML, Outlook Express (or FoxMail, or Arachne!!) would be able to display the page. OE would use the "defaults" assigned to Internet Explorer in regards to background colors, layout, frames, etc., sort of like a mini-browser window. C U L8R!
