Hi,

I just tried the Linux alpha version of Arachne. I used the DOS version of
Arachne for a short period approx. two years ago.

I have an ATI Rage II graphic card, and when I first ran Arahne the "RAGE"
driver was used - autodetected somehow... This worked but when using this
driver I had a strange red tint over the screen! I switched to the VESA driver
instead, that resulted in the red tint disappearing, but another problem
occured. When using ESC to leave Arachne with this driver, some sort of crash
happens, the screen becomes a blur of colors, and it's impossible to get back
to bash...

Surfing the net works pretty well, but one important site I'm having problems
with is www.deja.com/usenet - searching there doesn't work for some reason...

Is it possible/will it be possible to run Arachne in an xterm? One of the
reasons I'm asking is that I'm developing a html editor (August - free
html editor for Unix/Linux: http://www.lls.se/~johanb/august/ ) and it would be
cool to able to use Arachne as an html previewer for this app. Is there any
command line switches for Arachne similar to the ones for Netscape (-remote)
that makes it possible to load a html document into an already existing
Netscape window?
