Unfortunately, I can't use epppd on my system. I don't know why.

Do you connect by dialup or by LAN? Did you run epppd from within Arachne, or
away from Arachne? With NETDIAL or CHAT? EPPPD can't start a connection on its
own, without NETDIAL or CHAT, or other similar program. Can you access your
modem fro DOS?
