Ummm no. Actually only the first part is correct. It appears that dospppd
LOOKS for the com spec first so it doesn't matter what order they are in.:((
However, if you leave the COM# out of pppdrc it works fine as long as you
specify a real base and irq.

I just hacked core1.62 to make it write pppdrc.gfc instead of cfg.
Then I edited an existing ppprdc.cfg to this format:

base 0x2e8
irq 3
COM4
115200
modem ......
Worked fine.

Deleted COM4
Worked fine.

Changed COM4 to COM3
Dialled and connected fine but couldn't install packet driver.
