Arachne does not need a ShockWave interpreter. While ShockWave may provide
interesting entertainment for kids, very few of us Arachne users would
appreciate it. Most of us are mature adults and we use the internet mainly
to look for worthwhile information, not entertainment and games. For most
of us, the ShockWaved pages would be seen as a waste of time waiting for
them to download. If entertainment is what I want, I'll just turn on my TV.
If I want information, then I'll access the internet. For mere visual and
audio entertainment value, TV is always better than the internet, IMHO.
