That page had nothing to help me with the header format for SMTPOP. SMTPOP12
really ought to include a sample message to show the header format.
>BTW, this message was sent using SMTPOP.EXE as a standalone program.
All the best,

Sam,
Your first SMTPOP message had no line with single period at the end, second
message had a line of one period followed by a line of two periods, and the
third message ended with a line of one period.
I have always been able to read and write 360 KB diskettes after formatting or
writing in high-density drive, believe this is usually the case but not always.
Opportunities to test this have faded and are fading further.
My only experience with a 720 KB drive (3.5" low density) was after an upgrade,
where the technician mistakenly put in such a drive, which mistake he corrected
at no charge. Such mistakes, plus the fact that 1.44 MB drives read and write
720 KB diskettes, have no doubt persuaded manufacturers to discontinue 720 KB
drives. Now they're saying 1.44 MB drives and media may be on the way out.
