 Yes, it worked.
Well, halfway. :-)

Renaming epppdd.exe to epppd.exe allowed pppdrc.cfg to be updated and
ppp.log as-well.

 But only when loaded into low memory.
When loading high... pppdrc.cfg *still* does not get written.
