Why? ;-)

Ok. Installed them. I just unzip them to an empty temporary
folder, then use the file names to move the same files in
Arachne dir to \arahne\backup. If only APM allows you to
run a script or at least batch file, then perhaps you could
make it as an official APM. They really shorten the path
to Arachne's video setup.

Well, I did, and found some invisible colors in SurvPC home;
mainly in monochrome VGA, EGA, and CGA <g>. The problem is
fixed now.  Thx-

It's simulating MDA as well that way (IMHO). BTW, instead of
Herc in Color how about Herc in Mono? ;-)

There's might be a way to force Arachne to render nonstandard
colors in a predictable manner. At least in 256 color mode:

  * Go to the URL at my sig below
  * Load all images, make sure you got "heavy colors" animated
    banner, if not, just click "Refresh this page".
  * See the right column color below the advertorial section?
  * Hit F4, search and remove 'BACKGROUND="/images/bgntatra.gif"'
  * Reload the page, Arachne won't be able to keep the correct
    right column's color.

Weird, bgntatra.gif contains the exact same color with the
BGCOLOR (tatrazine). Why Arachne sometimes no longer displayed
the correct color when that background image is removed?

PS- Again, the same problem does not exist with MMEM166.APM core.
