Why would you not want the BCC recipient to see everyone, except possibly
other BCC recipients, who gets a copy of a message/letter?
In the days of the typewriter and carbon copies, you took a copy of the
original letter, put it back in the typewriter, and added the "BCC:" to the
end of the letter. The recipient of the BCC would get the same letter that
the addressee and copy recipients would get, but with his/her name added. If
the originator of the letter wanted *all* BCC recipients to know other BCC
recipients, than they would all be listed as BCC recipients. The addressee,
of course, and recipients of CC would not know who the BCC recipients were.
