I have been using a command line interpreter called WCED for
years, which along with the above, also let's you define aliases
(a la doskey). This should, in theory at least, speed up your
system, since DOS does not have to look through the current
directory and path every time you run a small program or batch
file.

I find this small program to be among the _most_ useful of all
my DOS tools. I personally wouldn't even consider using the DOS
command line for very long without it, or something similar.
