Hello Herbert;
Does your Arachne.cfg have a number in BOTH positions for Nameserver ?
If your ISP has only one DNS # (Domain Name Server), that same number
should be placed in both the NameServer and AltNameServer positions.

The problem that used to exist with modems on COM4 and nothing on COM3
has been fixed I'm pretty sure. There have been no recent complaints.
At any rate, if your modem dials, and you can login, then you have no
problem in this area.
