I just noticed another part of your Arachne.cfg that may be causing some of
the problems:
[system]
Hotlist .\HOTLIST.HTM
History .\HISTORY.LST
CookieFile .\COOKIES.LST
CacheIndex .\CACHE.IDX
CachePath CACHE\
Cache2TEMP Yes <--Do you have a "TEMP" directory set?
I.E., C:\TEMP? Make sure that you *have*
a *Directory* named, "TEMP" and are not
using C:\ as your TEMP directory. Also,
make sure that you have the location of
the TEMP directory SET in your Autoexec.bat
file. (Type "SET" at the DOS prompt to
see if it is defined. It should appear
as a line such as: TEMP=C:\TEMP.")
MailPath MAIL\
DownloadPath DOWNLOAD\
Note, I am also using M$-DOS 6.22, and have an environmental variable,
FULLTEMP=C:\TEMP and TEMP=C:\TEMP set in my Autoexec.bat file.
It is also a good idea to specify the full path for the files in the
[system] part of Arachne.cfg, not relative paths.
