As I am viewing your message on the list after you have removed the ">"s,
I see the three lines as just two, with the middle line missing. When
I view your message within DOS shell as a CNM file, then all three lines
are seen.
Yes, it is truly weird. You have experienced the same kinds of problems
as I have with these three lines of text. I wonder how these problems
might be explained, and I wonder why so far there has never, AFAIK, a
similar problem having been reported. The problem has existed for a very
long time. I know this because I can reproduce the problem with even a
very early version of Arachne, version 1.20. Also I have reproduced the
problem with Arachne version 1.41. I always get results consistent with
the bad rendering as seen in my current Arachne version. Does anyone on
the list see my three lines of text that I have posted as three lines
instead of just two lines when viewing them with any version of Arachne?
