OK, let's clarify the situation.  The problem is with
your second harddrive (your D: drive).  It was formatted 
by DOS fdisk and has a DOS filesystem on it.  It was 
somehow corrupted when a DOS version of Linux (muLinux) 
crashed.  Is this correct?

I assume your system boots from the C: drive and you
normally access the drive in question by typing "D:"
from the DOS prompt.  What happens when you do this
now?  If there is an error message, what does it say?
