A few days ago I sent this list a question on changing the screen colors
when a site has an unreadable color scheme. Unfortunately, I wasn't
correctly subscribed to the list so didn't see the answers, if any,
even if my question did appear.

So here it is again: even www.deja.com has artwork with dark blue writing
on a dark blue background. Is there any way I can change this so that it
becomes readable here?

What about when the entire screen background is almost the same color as
the text? Example, http://www.arsenic.com/herblibrary/tansy.htm
has white text on a bright yellow background and is unreadable, but for
a brief moment after I hit PageUp the background turns fleetingly black
and if it wasn't so brief I could read it perfectly! The only thing I can
think of is to save it locally and either try to read the HTML or edit it
and change the colors.

Thanks.
