Hi Ron;
I have to jump right back here, so no one thinks the problem is settled.

I know about the problem that exists with multiple attachments to ONE mail
where the attachments have stupid long filenames. This is not the problem.

I want to emphasize that frequently *I* am the forwarder and I would never
consider using long file names. It is much too disorganized. <G>

I repeat: when receiving different mails containing different forwarded
messages, the first attached message opened is the only one I will be able
to see - all others will have the same *ARACHNE* filename. 8.3 format.
