I remember that to run BASICA I had to have a special interface program
that called it, then it ran fine on my 286/386.  Honest. <G>  When
GW-BASIC came out, the interface program no longer was needed but one
was left in place so if you typed in BASIC instead of GWBASIC you'd get
to the correct program. <G>
