Hi Ray,
The TAB key always cycles (AFAIK) between the options avialable on
screen. When the pointer comes to rest . . . .
Just try it on the INBOX page. Use TAB to get to the TRASH icon and then
go for "Enter" It should delete into trash and then empty trash.

This lists all the hotkeys and how to use them. Took me around 5 months
to find this, one of these days somebody will write a "Dummies Guide to
Arachne"
I'm probably the perfect candidate for that job! being a complete Dummy
