(Following is a repeat of a suggestion I made back in late December, but
never saw any feedback on. If you have read this before and did not want
to see it again, I apologize.)

I have 1.69 on my computer at work, but never upgraded from 1.62 at home.

It is interesting to compare the way the two versions clear the cache when
I press F8. Although the home computer is a 486sx with a much slower
processor and disk drive and less memory than the computer at work, the
internal cache-clearing routine in 1.62 seems much faster than the
external batch that does the job in 1.69.

And in 1.62, the screen display did not change. In 1.69, if I'm viewing a
remote page when I press F8, the graphics disappear and the text portion
of the page is reloaded.

Suggestion: In future versions of Arachne, go back to the way 1.62 did it.
