Nice, Steven.
I also TRY to alias ls -la to dir and it IGNORES me. <G>
I'm writing to let you know that the new PygmyLinux contains "links"
as does your distribution, and I quite like links.
Unfortunately, it has "mutt" instead of pine, which I prefer.
So, I come bearing gifts and begging for secrets.
The gift is the notification that Pygmy07 will run Arachne.
The begging begins here:
I have Pygmy06 also, which has pine. I would like to transport pine
to Pygmy07, but I have no idea how one determines what files belong
to what application. Files seem to be strewn generally all over the
place. Unlike DOS, where one might expect am application to have it's
own directory, I find scripts and inis and rcs (what's that?) and
setups and totally unrecognizable exes all separated.
So, how does one a) delete an application, and b) transport one ?
Arachne is one application I have had occasion to try to delete.
It's almost easier to deltree Dragon76 and reinstall, than find
the droppings of Arachne.
Talking about droppings, I have loaded Arachne1.66 into Pygmy07
and it (Arachne) has accepted it's surroundings.
Any idea how I might invoke it ?
Thanks for the fish.
