I am currently downloading many, large files. I try to download to
RAMDisk for this, since it is fastest. My 32Mbyte will only
let me have 16Mbyte RAMDisk, so when downloading, I put \cache and
\temp, ONLY on my RAMDisk. This gives me about 14703Kbytes download
space.
BUT, current Arachne Versions, after the D/L, do not go straight to
the "F2 Save" page, but, instead, try to display the downloaded
file. Very little/None xSwap space is allocated in RAM, and trying
to display a 14Mb .ZIP or .EXE after download, will usually cause
me fafal xSwap error. I can manipulate myself around and still
retrieve the downloaded file, but it is an ungoing nuisense.
I looked into MIME.CFG but couldn't see what needs to be changed
there to make Arachne go STRAIGHT to the F2 Save page, rather than
trying to display a download. The ONLY things I want Arachne to
try to display are .HTM and Images. The rest, even .TXT files, I
want Arachne to give me the F2 Save page, and let me make MY choice.
I seem to recall that my previous Arachne versions did this, but
these latest ones do not.....
What do I need to change, and where, to have Arachne do this as
default behavior..
