I have noticed the same behavior too, both with the current version and
with version 1.66. After the dowload has been completed Arachne
occasionally tries to display the file instead of offering me the save
options. Arachne's attempt to display the file happens automagically,
and without any prior keyboard input on my part. After Arachne has
attempted to display the file I can always simply press F2 and then I will
be presented with the save options. I don't know if this is a bug or
some kind of feature. Whatever it is, I find it a minor annoyance rather
than a serious problem. After the download has been completed I am always
successful at saving it, even with multimegabyte downloads, and even
whenever this minor annoyance occurs. BTW, to anyone wishing to reply to
my comments here, I do not want to get involved in a pointless flame war
on how to distinguish the difference beween a minor annoyance and a serious
problem. I know one person on this list who likes to indulge in arguments
of this nature. To me, if it is easy to use Arachne to download and save
files, then there is no serious problem along these lines.
