Compuserve 2000 uses a proprietary Win32 interface, I think there is also a Mac
version. Now didn't somebody say Compuserve kept 2000 & Classic separate, so
you couldn't access both from the same account? I don't think you even have
POP3 & SMTP with Compuserve 2000. You can use those Compuserve 2000 CDs as
coasters, frisbees, or Christmas tree ornaments, take your pick. Same applies
to those AOL 6.0 CDs. I can't recall ever seeing anybody with AOL or Prodigy
address on Arachne list, though there are a few Compusurfers.
Maybe Compuserve is trying to move people away from the Classic by not upgrading
the modems on those phone lines?
