No, I don't need to use it, and my soul is still intact. I run it on
my P100 which I mostly use for the free ISP's (Bluelight et. al. and
not very many et.al.'s either any more). For my daily use I use
MSDOS 6.22 with Arachne and Pegasus Mail for DOS v3.50 on my
486DX4/100 where I truly do feel at home. I was simply bemoaning the
loss in diversity of choices for cacheing software programs for the
Windows OS. The little bit of knowledge of Win9x I do have has been
useful in helping other folks with their problems, who do run Win9x by
choice or default, so it is not for nought that I have some experience
with it.

P.S. Just a little secret between you and me, Clarence, I also have
Win95 on an old 386DX-40 with 8meg RAM that has an old Seagate 120
meg HD Drivespaced to 200 meg, and it runs surprising well. The
reason I initially installed it was that I bought a floppy install of
Win95 at a garage sale last summer and I wanted to verify that the
disks were uncorrupted. I was surprised how well it runs so I have
played around with it quite a bit. I recently installed an old USR
33.6 Winmodem and got connected with Netscape 3.x. Don't worry
though, I haven't gone over to The Dark Side....yet. ;)
