Thanks, Sam! The Sysop for my ISP is coming by Tuesday evening to
see if we can figure out why Arachne keeps dropping into his BBS
mode. I've had some excellent suggestions and even sample CFG
files from Clarence Verge, too. But, so far, no luck in making
connections. I'm beginning to wonder if my internal modem might
be at fault. It came with its "Manual" on a compact disk, which
doesn't do me much good, since I don't have a CD drive. I may
find someone who can copy the documentation from the CD to a
1.44 Mb floppy for me.
Still, it might make lots of sense to rename the Arachne main
directory -- say to "ARACSAVE" -- and re-build Arachne in a new
ARACHNE directory from the start.
