Hi LD;
I know that you have been paying attention, so I also know YOU know
about .ZBMs. And I understand that you would not consider it to be more
than a toy, due to it's lack of universal built-in-ness.

But, may I ask you and others to consider the following possibility
while we wait for the Unisys patent to expire:

Zipped bitmaps are 100% lossless and usually smaller than .GIFs. 
Just about everyone has an unzip program. 
That's the end of the review. <g>

What if we put together a little package that visitors to ZBM laden pages
might download to "upgrade" their browsers ?

Before we get into the nitty gritty of how to accomplish this upgrade,
particularly for Netscape, let's see how hopeless you feel the idea is.<G>
