I have an old DOS sound card manufactured by ATI Technologies, ca. 1991.
The card still works just fine. I have discovered that the DOS software
that this card was supplied with will also work just great for two
different types of modern sound cards designed especially for Windows. I
don't know if my software works for playing MP3. I haven't tried MP3 yet.
The software does work for playing WAV and MIDI files and audio CDs. You
might want to try installing DOS sound card drivers for ATI sound cards.
These drivers might just happen to work for your card too. AFAIK, the ATI
DOS sound card drivers might be almost universally compatible. Write to me
privately if you have any questions about where you might obtain said
drivers. Good luck!
