VIEW works fine for me with M$ Word 6.0 documents.  Maybe your document
is one containing graphics and pictures and diagrams and such.  View won't
work with that kind of stuff because it can't be converted to simple ascii
text.  Whoever sent such a document to you should have had the sense to
convert it to an image file.  Nowadays there is a new generation of computer
users who assume that everyone who has a PC also has Window$ and of course
Micro$oft Word.  They think it comes "free" with Window$.
