When my Arachne switches Xswap to HD, the slowdown is about a factor of 5
to 10.  Also, on restart your altM pop-up display of used xms will show
0 instead of ridiculous gigabytes.

I tried to set my Arachne off just now without success, so I re-did 
setup with Xswap to HD. Yup. Used XMS=0 and my P90 is so slow it might
as well be a 20MHz '386.
