I had the same experience. My first ISP uses terminal log-in on a
RedHat server. My second ISP will not accept terminal log-in, but
happily accepts PAP/CHAP (not script).
Both with Arachne 1.66.
I just set up a configuration .ACF file for each ISP and let them run,
depending on which ISP service I want to use.
