Today was yet another day of "red boxes" but today was different. This
time around I not only was unsuccessful in obtaining a rendition by
using 'right click' and reload, I ran into a LOOP that's killer.

Mind you, I have visited the web site before ... and had no problems.
The graphics download intact, but then the fun begins. If one is lucky,
all one gets is another red box. If one is UNlucky, a continuous loop
starts ... downloading xxxxx of 22,xxx until the d/l is complete and
then again downloading xxxxx of 22,xxx until the d/l is complete and
then again downloading xxxxx of 22,xxx until the d/l is complete and
then again downloading xxxxx of 22,xxx until the d/l is complete and
then again downloading xxxxx of 22,xxx until the d/l is complete and
then again downloading xxxxx of 22,xxx until the d/l is complete and
then again downloading xxxxx of 22,xxx until the d/l is complete and
... get the picture? I did, scores of times! But Arachne kept on
grabbing it again and again.

And when I was on a page, INSERT produced only red boxes. <sigh>

My son just complained to me about "Why is Arachne giving so many red
boxes now?"

I have the same question ... and why is Arachne creating zero byte BMP
conversion files from JPGs?

l.d.

NOTE: I have available, and can place for download, the JPG files from
cache, the zero byte BMP conversions from cache, a screen shot showing
resources available to Arachne and a red box where the graphic should
be, and results of CHKDSK V: where the cache resides.
