Shentel.net says this can be done on their ISP also. In an email from
their tech support team to all subscribers they warned that subscribers
will be billed an additional charge for each incident of simultaneous
access under the same account. Maybe CisNet has a similar policy
concerning simultaneous access. So don't be surprised if you see extra
charges on your next bill.
If ISPs would let their subscribers get away with this kind of thing then
they would lose a lot of money because people would simply make agreements
among each other to share the same account instead of establishing their
own individual accounts. Only one person would receive the monthly bill
and the other parties to the sharing arrangement would each pay their
own portions to the person who has to pay the bill.
