That source code is indeed available. However, you also need a seperate
library that costs something like 10 or 15 USD (it's been a while since I
checked) to compile it on your own.
As I've mentioned earlier I use a dedicated machine for this purpose.
Dedicated in this case means a spare P166MMX but it should work well on
much slower machines (I've used it on a 486DX2-80). Additionally it has one
advantage over Linux (except starting faster) and that is that it can all
fit in 1MB of RAM (well even less most likely).
