The above is the "root" on the main FTP site I access. Bad news is
AOL NOW OWNS IT, and AOL is getting ready to throw things away, and
what AOL has kept accessible isn't even *half* of what should be on
Simtel Net.
I wouldn't have thought, since so many universities were mirror sites,
that we'd ever lose simtel. But it looks like it may soon go the way
of "File Pile."
And I'm not the least bit happy about that.
I've got more digging to do. Hopefully, I find better news. :(
