I noticed Simtel Net going over more to 32-bit Windows, as most new additions to
the archive were for win95, much lesser amount for win31, and only a trickle for
msdos. Some of the msdos archive looks ancient.

As for Simtel Net being hosted on Walnut Creek CDROM, that was taken over by
BSDI, subsequently Wind River, and they seem oriented toward BSD OS and FreeBSD.
Walnut Creek CDROM seems to have dropped their non-FreeBSD stuff. I don't know
where this will leave Simtel Net and mirrors, or what role Digital River will
play.

I didn't know I was cheating (?) two nights ago when I accessed Simtel by ftp.
