It is illegal to send spam to servers located in certain states.
To send a spam message to any server located in the state of Virginia
is to commit an act of "criminal trespass" (Code of Virginia, Chapter
886). Persons found guilty of sending spam to a mail server located in
Virginia may be sentenced to serve jail time and to pay stiff fines.
Furthermore, they may be sued for civil damages. For the full text of
