You see, up until the day Phil Katz died the last version he wrote and
released was 2.04g ... I can recall that I checked Simtel Net the day I
learned of his death, to see if he had sent up a newer version before he
"left the system." He hadn't ...
So, either 2.50 is one of the contaminated phoney programs that was
circulating around almost 10 years ago ... or it is written by someone
other than Katz, someone who wants to make it 'more windows friendly'
and who will eventually reduce pkzip to rubbish. :<
