I bought the professional PKWARE package of archiving utilities right
after Phil Katz produced v2.04g (he even personally e-mailed me when I
had a question on getting it). Years later after v2.50 was released, I
downloaded that and found out that I could actually upgrade my existing
licensed version of it. If anyone has a licensed version, they have to
be sure it exists in its *entirety* (no deleted files of any kind) before
the upgrade will take place as it should.

Although I downloaded v2.50 and performed the upgrade, I decided to keep
it on hand only when necessary, since I do most of my work with the older
file formats -- and v2.50 didn't have the earlier version's configuration
capabilities.

Does anyone know whether or not v2.50 has been completed after Phil Katz's
death? That is, if it's been finished in the way Phil Katz intended?
