Merely filtering out HTML email would not stop the KAK worm from getting
through and infecting your machine if you open the message by using
Outlook Express and with JavaScript enabled. The KAK worm is written
using HTML, but it is sent as plain text, not as an attachment. When
you open the message with Outlook Express the HTML is automagically
displayed by your browser, and the malicious JavaScript runs.
Micro$oft now offers a patch which purportedly will correct this problem.
