Yes it does. It has saved me heaps of trouble again and again when
clients have sent me data, documents or instructions in MS-WORD formats.
It can also be used as a "plug-in" for Arachne.
I have added two lines to MIME.CFG
File/.doc |@call viewdoc.bat $1
File/.rtf |@call viewdoc.bat $1
And VIEWDOC.BAT in the main Arachne directory contains one line:
d:\view\view.exe %1
It works for me.
