WOW !!
Does that mean there WILL be another Arachne release ??
DSL, ADSL, cable modem: As far as *I* can tell they are all the same
and use an ethernet interface.
I'm on DSL at my new office.
I load the packet driver provided by the Ethernet card manufacturer in
autoexec and set Connection READY and use BOOTP in Arachne.cfg.
It was so easy to get online that I can't remember any other details.
I will check my setup to see if anything else is required. I know I
entered my provider's DNS #s but I have a feeling the info is not used
because the DSL modem seems to handle all the nitty gritty.
My apologies if I'm wrong in that last sentence. It will be Saturday
before I can check. :(
