xDSL are not the same as cable modem. That most xDSL is ADSL and that most
of that is in the form of an ethernet card is not significant. There is
however PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet) and there's a driver for it in DOS as
well. So the result is that xDSL in it's current form is fully usable in DOS.
