Hello everybody!
Within a few days now I will hopefully be connected to Internet via
cable. I've alreday got the cable modem (a Motorola SurfBoard SB4100),
but the network board I wanted, a 3Com 3C905B-TX-M, was temporary out of
stock.
I'm also planning buying some kind of firewall. When browsing the market,
I've found that price for each of the four models I've been looking at is
almost the same. The difference is only about $30 from the cheapest to
the most expensive one.
The four models I've been looking at is D-Link DI-701, DI-704, DI-804
and USRobotics 8000. What makes the USR 8000 an interesting choice is
the built-in serial port, and a built-in printer server.
Now, here's something for you guys: Is there any known issues with any
of the above equipment and Arachne?
