I'm using the SurfBoard SB3100 with a NETGEAR FA310TXC.
One of the reasons I got this card is because it's supported
under Windows, DOS, SCO, Linux, as well as Netware for OS/2,
DOS/Win/Win95... and it was cheap at the time. ;-)

Why? Get an old throw-away computer and run
Coyote Linux or LRP on it.
Both are "router(s)-on-a-floppy."

A Linux firewall/router also gives you built-in serial
port, printer server, nameserver, webserver, or whatever
else you want to put on it. Since you'll likely be
running iptables as the firewall, all those services
will be "behind" the firewall as well. Just that their
IP won't be masqueraded, as will any machine on the
internal network.

Would that be DOS Arachne, or Linux Arachne? ;-)
