Bastiaan,

I found both EXT.EXE and EXTRACT.EXE on the W98 CD in the OLDMSDOS
directory. Apparently EXT.EXE calls EXTRACT.EXE as when I used EXT.EXE
alone, I got the message that it required EXTRACT.EXE to be in the same
directory.

I did not delve into it too deeply, nor did I decompress any .CAB files, nor
did I read carefully the information on extracting .CAB files that I found on
the M$ web site.

Hope this all helps. Maybe with the Labor Day holiday weekend (first Monday
in September) coming up, I will look at this a little bit more.

BTW, if you still can't find the files, I can send them to you.

HTH

Hi Roger,
this is becomming realy intriguing since there is no EXT.exe on
the win95 CD nor on the soundblaster CD...
