Hmmm, guess I must have installed just the man
pages... for kicks, apparently... wonder how I missed
deleting them when I nuked the rest.

/mnt/spare/usr/man/es/man1/icewm.1x.gz
I've downloaded it (again), compiled, installed, and
tried it out (again).
I now remember why I don't like it. It's too much
like Windows. You activate your menu(s) by clicking
the little icon at the lower left. I don't like
that. I much prefer the ability to click anywhere
on open desktop to get my menus. I generally run
640x480 resolution on an 1152x864 desktop. If I'm
doing something at the upper right hand corner of the
desktop, I don't want to have to travel ALL the way
down there just to open another xterm, or start xv, or
whatever. With fvwm2, I just click anywhere, and there
are my menus.
Another thing I don't like about icewm is that
it's not very configurable... even the author says
that, "Extreme configurability similar to fvwm and many
other window managers is NOT the goal."
That said, yes, it certainly does seem to be more
functional than twm... and given the choice between
twm and icewm, I'd certainly choose the latter.
Also, just for Clarence, the author has this to add,
"Generally, it tries to make all functions available
both by keyboard and by mouse (this is not currently
possible when using mouse focus)."
So it would appear that Clarence could disable
mouse focus and never (well, hardly ever) touch his
mouse again. ;-)
