Currently I have Afterstep as my window manager. That was one of its
nicer features. The others with the RH package were not attractive
at all to me. I can't recall fvwm2.
But I have hardly spent 2 hours using Afterstep so I don't know if
I could ever get used to it auto-panning. <g>

p.s. Still too bogged down to give my report on the DLink NIC problem,
but I *THINK* I can say I've not even found the DIRECTORIES you and
Steven mentioned. Maybe tomorrow ?
