This is the reason for the "count-down".
<META HTTP-EQUIV=REFRESH CONTENT="180;URL=/MBX/quark87/AUTOREFRESH">

And this is the reason why you have a "blank page".

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" DEFER>
function allClicked() {
  var l = MsgList.elements.length;
  for (i = 0; i < l; i++) {
    var e = MsgList.elements[i];
    if (e.name == "UIDL") {
      e.checked = MsgList.allbox.checked;
    }
  }
}
</SCRIPT>

1) press ESC to stop the "count-down"
2) press F4 and remove both of the above quoted sections
3) press F2 and continue doing your "web mail"

If you would also like to get rid of the advert....
(remove this section before hitting F2)

<!-- Place the following code where you want an ad to appear -->
<IFRAME SRC="http://ads.uniquemedia.net/?DC=OperaMail&DH=Y";
    HEIGHT="60" WIDTH="468" SCROLLING="NO" MARGINWIDTH="0"
    MARGINHEIGHT="0" FRAMEBORDER="0" VSPACE="0" HSPACE="0">
  <ILAYER SRC="http://ads.uniquemedia.net/?DC=OperaMail&DH=Y"; HEIGHT="60"

    </A>
  </NOLAYER>
</IFRAME>
</center>

The draw-back with this work-around.....
You must redo it every time the inbox is reloaded.
(have not as-yet tried the "outbox", but I'll bet you it's the same) :((
