This is just an interim msg to let you all now I received your advice and I appreciate it too ; I have had no time however to try the suggested manoeuvers , will report back when its done , hopefully it'll be a full success report then !
Unfortunately again , I have little spare time and fixing my Arachne is not an absolute priority , with all due respect ... Thomas Mueller : my tries were under DOS only , using a 'real' HW modem. AFA I remember , I did with the dialer included in the std Arachne installation. But again , your time is appreciated so please don't loose it trying to help before I make some new experiments ... All : Am I right in sending to the list as [EMAIL PROTECTED] , or could I use the "reply" button of my browser and still be sending to the list ? -- S.Roth
